Part 1. Integrated Support Services in the context of a Remote Delivery Model
Remote delivery of interventions with perpetrators and survivors has developed significantly during the current pandemic.
Approaches to engaging perpetrators and survivors have been significantly impacted and whilst this presents new opportunities there are also a new set of challenges and associated risks.
This 3-hour practice development workshop will support practitioners to:
-Consider dynamics in making initial contact with survivors who are co-habiting with the perpetrator of abuse
-Outline the need to obtain additional information from referrers to support safe contact and the role of the referrer
-Work collaboratively with DAPP facilitators, monitor risk and ensure online delivery does not increase risk in the home
-Consider the impact of service delivery moving forward (with reference to the WWP Covid-19 Practice revision toolkit)
Who can attend?
This Practice Development Day is for Respect Accredited Services.
It is aimed at Integrated Support Service Workers (including those from partner organisations delivering the ISS), Perpetrator work Facilitators, and Practice Managers
