Tasha Gelder
Communications Officer
Tasha joined Respect in 2024, after leading communications at Inspire North, the parent company of Community Links and Foundation.
During her time at Inspire North, Tasha was involved in various domestic abuse social media campaigns, focused on the World Cup 2022 and UEFA Euro 2024. The focus here was to engage perpetrators of domestic abuse to change their behaviours by signposting to support lines and highlighting the domestic abuse services they offered, such as Positive Choices.
It was through this work, and continuous collaboration with the domestic abuse services that Tasha decided to make the move to Respect, to focus on and support in making real change across the domestic abuse sector.
Outside of work, Tasha enjoys seeing her friends, exploring the great outdoors and attending yoga classes! Not to mention looking after her friend’s reptiles when they are away.
