Amra joined the Respect Board in 2020. Her skills, experience and knowledge have been developed over twelve years as Managing Director of My Time and more recently National Lead for Domestic Abuse for the Richmond Fellowship (RF).
Amra has in-depth knowledge of domestic violence and mental health, external commissioning and fundraising, and an understanding of the legislative and political context in which these services exist and develop. She also has front line experience of delivery and overseeing an organisation of a similar size, so can provide access to a network of contacts in the sector and act as a voice for those in the sector.
She is extremely passionate about the key strategic priorities Respect are looking to deliver over the next three years, in particular the development and delivery of services for minorities and marginalised communities.
