After 30 years of working in the media and music industries, David found himself disillusioned and unfulfilled, so decided a radical career change was what he needed. After volunteering for CGL in Manchester for 7 months, he began to work for Emerging Futures as a Network Recovery Worker, handling complex, multi-agency cases. Domestic Abuse was a frequent element in the cases he worked on, which led him to work for the Drive Project in Manchester from 2021 to 2023 as a Case Manager and gained his IDVA accreditation.
In his spare time, he wonders how his family ended up owning 5 dogs.
