Laurie Beach

Laurie began her role with the DAPO team in January 2025 having moved from other charities which focused on psychological wellbeing and relationships. 

Her main experience is within the Probation Service where she served well over a decade as an accredited programmes facilitator and case manager. Laurie also set up and managed a criminal justice peer mentoring programme as well as a pilot programme to support young fathers and divert them and their children away from the criminal justice
system.

Laurie is currently studying for an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Salford and loves walking on the local moors.
