This 2-day training course covers domestic abuse dynamics, risk and risk assessment, gender dynamics, perpetrator presentations and typologies.
Participants will learn how to use a toolkit of skills taught on the course to effectively engage perpetrators and increase readiness and motivation for change.

The identification and management of risk is a central function of an intervention for perpetrators of domestic abuse and a strong focus of Respect's accreditation standards.
Risk management includes risk identification, communication of risk internally and externally and having effective procedures to manage or reduce risk on a day-to-day basis, through a case management process.

Drive and Respect have jointly developed this 2-day, OCN-accredited training course.
During the course, participants will examine culture and cultural competency, so they can engage with perpetrators from any background or culture. They will also learn how to navigate and respond to cultural and religious justifications for abuse.

The sexual respect module of a Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme is a particularly challenging one to deliver.
This hands-on, CPD-certified, 1-day course will teach Facilitators techniques and provide tools to deliver this module safely and effectively.

Facilitating groupwork for perpetrators of domestic abuse: essential skills
This 5-day, OCN-accredited training course teaches the essential skills to facilitate a groupwork intervention for perpetrators of domestic abuse.
- Day 1 covers the required theory during a 2.5-hour webinar (10:30-13:00).
- Days 2, 3, 4, and 5 are about learning and practicing skills to facilitate groupwork sessions.
The course will also teach skills in navigating group dynamics and managing relationships with co-facilitators.

Delivering the Respect 1-1 Programme for Work with Perpetrators
This hands-on 4-day training course will teach participants how to work one-to-one with perpetrators of domestic abuse, using the structured Respect 1-1 Programme. It is for practitioners who will deliver the Respect 1-1 Programme in its 24-session format.
The training is participatory and practical, with a primary focus on working interactively with the Respect 1-1 programme materials.

Integrated Support Worker essential training
This OCN-accredited, hands-on, 3-day training course will teach participants how to offer a responsive and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse as part of the Integrated Support Service of a Domestic Abuse Perpetrator intervention.
The training is interactive and uses a range of media, practical exercises, and discussion to give participants a "toolkit" of skills and knowledge based on evidence-based practice and recent theory. This is also an excellent 'refresher' for experienced Integrated Support Service practitioners.

Service Manager's Training
This training course is for Service Managers of interventions for perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse.
The course was developed by Respect and Safe Lives, and it is accredited by OCN.
The content of the training course covers all aspects of managing an intervention for perpetrators. The learning process includes:
- 5 half-day workshops
- Self-directed learning.
- Building a portfolio that will be assessed on a pass or fail basis.
- Individual support sessions with the Trainers throughout the course.
