Restart is a project bringing together expertise from Respect, SafeLives, DAHA and Drive for the delivery of a project that builds on learning from an emergency response trial initiated during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Restart provides early intervention for perpetrators causing harm in families working with Children’s Social Care (CSC), to prevent continued abuse.
The pilot takes a multi-agency approach, which includes working with housing teams to develop new accommodation pathways and supports CSC and housing professionals to feel more confident and capable in responding to domestic abuse.
As part of this partnership, Respect is providing workforce development through the implementation of the Safe & Together approach in the five participating London Boroughs.
