Talia Kensit

Talia joined the Board in 2020, and is passionate about addressing domestic abuse and supporting the means by which Respect does this by looking at how to challenge and dismantle the patriarchy on a social, structural and individual basis - in a way that is survivor centred. 

Talia is the CEO of a youth organisation addressing teenage relationship abuse, and has been working in the domestic abuse and youth sector for 5 years. Talia is currently studying an MA in Women and Child Abuse and has lived experience of the issue, enabling her to respond in an empathic and representative way.
