Respect is delighted to announce that, following a meeting of the accreditation panel, the following services have achieved Respect accreditation for their work with perpetrators.
- Opening Closed Doors, delivered by Barnardos South East Cymru
- The Drive intervention in West Mercia, and the Men & Masculinities Service (covering Ealing, Hounslow and Sutton), both delivered by Cranstoun.
As part of the same panel, Yorkshire Children’s Centre’s Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme achieved accreditation for the second time.
More about accreditation
Respect accredits services (not whole organisations) doing safe, effective work with:
- Perpetrators of domestic violence
- Male victims of domestic violence
To achieve accreditation, services working with perpetrators are assessed against the Respect Standard, and those working with male victims must meet the Male Victims’ Standard.
Accreditation is required every three years, and only services that have completed the full accreditation process can describe themselves as Respect Accredited.
