Respect’s helplines have achieved accreditation from the Helplines Partnership for the fifth consecutive time. Both the Respect Phoneline for perpetrators of abuse, and the Men’s Advice Line for male victims, were found to be delivering an effective, high-quality service.

The Partnership’s report focused in particular on the team’s dedication and commitment to offering a high-quality service, and on the thorough training and support they receive in their roles. Special mention was also given to the accessibility of the Men’s Advice Line website, which was praised for its use of animation and imagery to support non-fluent English speakers.

Tanisha Jnagel, Helplines Manager, said,

“This accreditation is reflective of the team’s consistent hard work and their commitment to providing the highest quality support.

“We’re immensely proud of the services we provide, and our team of advisors who provide expert, non-judgemental, confidential advice across both helplines.

“We hope this mark of quality shows anyone thinking of calling us that we’re here, we’re experts and we’re ready to help.”

The Respect Phoneline is here for anyone who is concerned about their own behaviour, and anyone who works with or supports someone who is behaving abusively.
